WHOLE BEAN
Whole bean=more flavor! Whether you're drinking cold brew or old-fashioned drip coffee, when it comes to making coffee at home, fresh whole beans are a must. Whole beans yield far more flavorful, fresher, and more aromatic coffee.
STANDARD GROUND
The happy medium of grind sizes; a great starting point for any coffee lover. This grind is similar to the consistency of regular sand. This is the most common grind, best for drip pots coffee makers yielding bold and flavored cup of coffee. With the standard ground, you can't go wrong!
COARSE
This is a chunkier grind than your standard ground coffee and has a consistency of kosher salt. This grind is best used for french presses, percolators, and coffee cupping brewing methods. Remember to brew this grind a bit longer than your other grinds to extract the maximum flavor.
ESPRESSO
This grind is much finer than other grinds. Since the espresso grinds are roasted differently than other grinds, it has a bolder, less acidic taste, with a well-rounded and full-bodied finish. It tastes “stronger,” meaning that it has a rich coffee flavor. The roasting process especially brings out more oils in the beans, so it often has a heavier feel. This requires either an espresso machine or aeropress, and it results in a shot or two (1-2oz) of a concentrated espresso. With an espresso grind you can make a variety of lattes, americanos, and cappuccinos.
